Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
